John has been in the Auckland building industry for over four decades. Outside of work, he is a keen ocean swimmer, fisherman and diver - forever enjoying the bounty of the Waitemata Harbour and Bay of Islands.
Rob Davis - Senior Quantity Surveyor
With more than 40 years experience as a QS in NZ and abroad, Rob brings a wealth of experience and know-how to the Lawton team. Rob is a handy DIYer, trekker and family man - he enjoys travelling and visiting family around the world.
Junior Kapi - Senior Site Manager
Junior has been Lawton’s leading site manager for over a decade and has experience of managing projects from small renovations to high rise apartments. His inter-personal skills are a hugely contributing factor to many project’s successful completion on time and in budget. Junior is a keen and successful Tag Football coach, in both men’s and mixed teams in the under 21 grade.
Paul Lawton - Site Manager
With more than 17 year’s experience in the Auckland construction scene, Paul is experienced in heavy commercial, light retail and restaurant projects. Outside of work, you’ll find Paul up in the Bay of Islands, out on the water fishing up a storm.
Mike Gordon Lawton - Site Manager
Michael’s 13 years in the Auckland building industry on various commercial building projects has given him a wealth of experience managing and overseeing projects from plan to completion. Michael is a new dad, and when time allows enjoys fishing and scuba diving for kai in the Bay of Islands
Mike John Lawton - Project Manager
Mike works both onsite and in the head office in a project support capacity - and has a comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety. In the weekends you’ll find Mike attending club rugby, renovating or tending his garden. Michael has a young family and when possible he can be found free-diving or fishing for seafood from many spots along the northland coast.
Fiona Lawton - Admin Manager
Fiona makes things tick in the office. She can often be found walking Indy the office dog (right), skiing -water and snow, paddle boarding or knitting for her grandchildren. Fiona has been with Lawton’s for over 30 years and is an indispensable member of the office running the accounts and administration side of the business.
Indy Lawton - Office Dog
Indy the Doberman is the chief wellness officer, engaging play-time with with office staff, greeting visitors, decreasing stress and providing invaluable morale boosts for all members of the team. Indy has been with Lawton’s for over 7 years - that’s 42 dog years - placing her as one of the longest serving members of the team.
